JMJ / MMM 26 March 2010 100326 Dear Fellow Members of the Body of Christ -- We shouldn't view the Old Testament as showing God the Mighty Ruler and Stern .. and the New Testament as Jesus all lovy-dovy. If we see sternness in the Old Testament it's because so often the people were at that stage of their spiritual development and that called for God's Tough Love with stern consequences. And yet in Isaiah 43 God speaks some of the tenderest Love words in all the Bible. And let's not forget that the All Loving Jesus in the New Testament puts it sharp and clear about hell everlasting and NOT being forgiven by the Father IF we ourselves do not forgive those who hurt us. Any thoughts about what's written above? Blessing to all ... John (JohnJFarren)
"Father, I pray that they all may be One .. AS WE ARE ONE."
