Going to Communion every day for so many years! Anybody else would be a saint by now, you told me, and I ... I'm always the same! Son, I replied, keep up your daily Communion, and think: what would I be if I had not gone? -- St. Josemaria Escriva: The Way

You will do fine Cookie ....When the harvest comes all the hard work is so worth it. My 4 year old is a veggie eater big time. Last summer he would walk out to the garden and just pick the cherry tomatoes off the vine and eat them till his belly was so big ! (his words)

| I had a late start this year... but most are popping through now. Hubby made the garden much bigger at the end of last years season. And I thought wow, how much more I could do... well, I think now it needs to be even bigger - glad I have the side beds to put other things in. I check it now every few days and am seeing new sprouts everywhere... havent' seen my tomatoes or peppers yet, but everything else is popping thru. Stormy, you made me chuckleut your son... I remember those days - ah... We have 3 pugs and a cat now... kids are still home too and they are in the early 20's - too hard and expensive to start out on your own now... that's another story. Willy my first pug is the tomatoe theif - takes the cherry tomotoes right off the vine -- even visits our dear neighbors garden! Love this season.... and am getting my canning and dehydrator equipment ready too! |
