A teenage boy turned 16 and got his license. He told his father that he wanted a car so he could travel all over the place on his own. His father said that he would get him a car on three conditions.... if he cut his hair and shaved his beard, if he wore "normal" clothes, and if he read the Bible. The teen agreed and took the Bible from his father and spent several weeks reading it. After awhile, he came back to his father, excited with some knowledge he had gained. "Dad, it seems to me that Jesus had long hair, a beard, and he wore eccentric clothing for his day." The boy's father smiled and said, "Yes son. And he walked everywhere."
I thought it was cute when our priest said this joke yesterday... :)
