This past week a mother requested prayer for her young son. He was suffering from a life long problem with his hip. He recently had surgery but it did not go well. The prayer group from our church agreed to lay hands on him and pray for God to heal the young man. During the prayer one of the members got a word of knowledge, there was some kind of problem with the boy’s father (sin) and it was blocking the boy's healing. The group prayed for the boys father, then resumed praying for the boy. When they were finished the boy got up and walked. He was having difficulty and complained of pain. The group members noticed the boy was wearing corrective shoes, one heal was built up about 4 inches. They asked him to remove his shoes. For the first time in his life, both feet touched the ground and he walked normally without pain. We praise you for your glory Lord. We thank you for your infinite mercy. Thank you Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit, thank you all you saints who interceded on our behalf.

Well, I’m not sure if this story is actually a healing but I am moved to share it with you.
This week I have been in Alabama helping my brother in his business with some I.T. issues. He commutes to Chicago every couple of weeks and today was his day to go back home. So we drove together to Atlanta last night to avoid having to get up at 4:00 am today. We stopped at a restaurant on the way up, I blessed my food but he didn’t. He’s a bit faith challenged. We both ate the same food. When we got to Atlanta my brother was beginning to show the first signs of food poisoning. I’ve been there. All night long his body rejected the meal in every way. I however suffered nothing. This morning He was a wreck, completely worn out from having to in the bathroom every 15 minute until dawn. He was saying he would have to stay in Atlanta because he was to sick to travel. He asked to go to the emergency room. I felt compassion for him and asked if he would like me to lay hands upon him and ask Jesus for healing. In his weakened condition he couldn’t refuse. He said “it couldn’t hurt”. So we prayed, his body ceased purging and he was able to travel. He sent me a mail message tonight and said “he was feeling exhausted”. I told him faith is like a muscle and it must be exercised, repeat, “By His stripes I am healed”. He replied “you do it; it’s to Catholic for me”.
Praise Jesus Christ He is our strong tower. Thank you Lord.

Wow! I had to chuckled when I read what your brother said, but this might be the beginning of a metanoia on his part. After all, Christ seems to have healed him through your hands.

I also found his remarks amusing. Working in the ministry of healing has brought out many comments from our brothers and sisters in Christ. Usually we are accused of being protestant. Oh well, it’s not about us it’s about Jesus the Christ and His work.

On Tuesday a plot to sabotage equipment became known to us. Apparently there was a group of employees that came up with the idea to purposely sabotage equipment. It was their intent to drive us out of business in an effort to collect severance pay. In Mexico severance is mandatory for any employee terminated without cause. The severance is 90 days pay plus 7 additional days for each year of service. In the case of the conspirators the amount totaled around $40,000. We tried to flip one of the conspirators but failed. After continual prayer and forgiveness, we decided to put the matter to the Spirit and go with the events as they unfolded. When I got to work today, I learned one employee had quit, another had left town and a third was still on the floor. The person on the floor was the one we tried to flip; apparently he had given the others a heads up. Seeing what had happened, I determined it to be the will of God for us to clean out the vipers. We began with a prayer for protection and asked for the Holy Spirit to lead our enemies to repentance and conversion. I called the person from the floor to my office and explained to him he was of no use to us any more. He chose to be against us. “He who is with us is not against us.” I explained to him it would be better for him to resign and get a job somewhere else. He started to reply with a bunch of lies, so I told him to look in the corner of my office. I have a blessed statue of St. Michael in the corner. I told him our business is protected by St. Michael, stop lying and sign the resignation form freeing me from any severance obligation. He sat there silent for a short while and then he signed the form. Praise the Lord, all glory is His for now and forever.
In the past I would have relied totally on my training from a previous job to intimidate and destroy my enemy. Now I rely on the most high, by blessing those who seek to do me harm. He is powerful in every way. He who is within me is greater than he who is in the world.
Just a small follow-up as this happened two weeks ago. As I mentioned earlier, I was in Alabama last week working with my brother Carl. I had to rely on my assistant to finish the house cleaning. After we purged the vipers from our business in Mexico, some of the management team was having doubts about the legitimacy of what had happened. (If you have never had the pleasure of dealing with professional liars, it’s difficult to discern if someone is just an innocent victim.) So I related the confirmations given to me by the Lord. First, last Saturday I was feeling very up because of the healing my brother Carl received. So I decided to spend the day in Atlanta and I asked the Lord to put people in my path so I could do His work. I spent the day visiting the Coca cola museum and then went to lunch. At the restaurant, a young man struck up a conversation with me about his business. He told me asks only three things from his employees. First, never lie, second, never steal, and third always ask him for help if they need it. I had to tell how impressed I was with his insight. This was amazing information and just at the right time because all week I have had to swim in sea of liars.
Latter that evening I was reading from my bible, (I have been working to finish it for about a year now), I am currently finishing Isaiah, and I have a large book mark I leave in it every time I finish reading. So I start to read, “The Lord informed me of the plots that my enemies were making against me.” It’s right on track to the problem we were dealing with. When I got home Sunday I went to the scripture to show my wife. I said look what I read in Isaiah, only it turns out it wasn’t Isaiah it was Jeremiah 11:18 through 20.
11:18 Yahweh gave me knowledge of it, and I knew it: then you shown me their doings.
11:19 But I was like a gentle lamb that is led to the slaughter; and I didn't know that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit of it, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.
11:20 But, Yahweh of Hosts, who judge righteously, who try the heart and the mind, I shall see your vengeance on them; for to you have I revealed my cause. NJB

I may have posted this somewhere else in this forum but I wanted to add a follow up, so here is the whole story with follow-up.
A few weeks ago our healing ministry prayed over a young boy suffering from hip problems. Since birth one of his legs was significantly shorter than the other.
He had surgery earlier last year but the surgery didn’t go well and he was suffering.
His parents called the leader of the group and asked for healing prayer.
Prior to the visit the group prayed for guidance, and received a word from the Holy Spirit concerning some unresolved sin in the family coming from the father, and it was blocking God’s healing for the boy. When the group went to the home of the boy his father refused to participate in the prayer. The group began to pray for the family and for the father asking the Lord to send His healing love to them. After some time the father came into the room and began to listen to the prayers. Shortly after he began to cry and he forgave the person who had offended him. The whole family was in tears and began to confess sorrow for their sins and joy for the forgiveness each was now giving. The group then prayed over the boy asking God for healing by the power of the Holy Spirit and through His son Jesus the Christ. After the prayer they asked the boy to walk. He was having a lot of pain and difficulty walking. One of the members of the group noticed the boy was wearing a shoe with about a 3 inch lift. They asked him to remove his shoes. For the first time in his life he walked normally. Praise God, praise Jesus, and praise the Holy Spirit.
This past week the boy visited his doctor. After the exam the doctor admitted the boys leg had grown but he felt a lift was still needed, so he prescribed a new pair of shoes with a lift of 1/16. Ok, I know, it’s hard for some people to accept a miracle even when it is right in front of them.

But now many nations will marvel at him, and kings will be speechless with amazement. They will see and understand something they have never known. GNT
I read this again today, it makes me humble to know Him.
53:5 But because of our sins he was wounded, beaten because of the evil we did.
When I think of the crucifixion I cannot help but wonder where were the people Jesus healed?
Yesterday we were following up with the mother of a mentally disturbed man who had received healing. His forward progress has come to a stop. We asked his mother are you still praying. “Not out loud, only when I go to bed”. . Are you reading from the bible every day? “No, I was taught not to read the bible”. Have you called your priest? “No, he probably won’t come”. But you saw tremendous improvement when you were praying and asking Jesus to intervene. “I find prayer tedious and my son is still sick”. But what about the healing your son received? Did you thank God? “I’ll thank Him when my son is healed”.
The question here is does Jesus want to heal or is sin keeping the man from receiving the healing sent by Jesus?

Hi:
My wife and I have been very busy the past couple of weeks. Our parish participated in a mission presented by Fr. Taylor from Trinidad, very charismatic. There were healings of many sorts and many people participated in a fresh out pouring of the Holy Spirit. Awesome.
The following week we participated in a victory meeting in Branson MO. We witnessed many healings, and connected with many other Christians. One girl actually had her teeth filled by The Holy Spirit, amazing.

Barbaric, "Healing Through the Mass" by Fr. Robert DeGrandis, and "The Healing Power of the Eucharist" by Fr. Hampsch. Have you read any of these? |

Isn’t it wonderful to experience Jesus’ healing power? This past week we prayed for several people and have received many good reports of inner healing and spiritual healing. One women even reported she felt the cancer leave her body. Praise and Glory to you Jesus.
I have read both of those and have been to a seminar given by Fr. Hampsch.

| Good news on the cancer front. The women from my last post has been to the doctor and he has confirmed his earlier diagnosis was incorrect. One of the cancers has departed, sent to Jesus. Thank you Lord for your healing. |

By the way have you ever heard of Sr. Francis Clare? I spoke to her on the phone and what a delightful nun. I have some of her tapes and her books. |

I often wonder how so many people witnessed the miracles performed by Christ but abandoned Him in the end.
Yesterday my wife had the opportunity to follow up with a person who received miraculous healing a few months ago. Bob was preparing to burn some brush that had grown out of control next to his home. He poured gasoline on the brush pile and then lit it with a match. There was an explosion. He was severally burned and was taken to the hospital by the paramedics. Bob’s wife called my wife in a panic asking for healing prayer. We immediately prayed for Bob with his wife and later we included him in our group prayers. The doctors were afraid Bob was going to lose sight in one eye because it was severely burned. During the time we were praying with Bob’s wife his eye returned to normal and showed no signs of being burned. Over the next few weeks Bob continued to heal at a very fast pace. His doctors were amazed at the rate of healing because Bob is afflicted by diabetes. Bob healed completely and has promised never to light fires with gasoline again. Yesterday my wife was speaking with Bob’s wife about participating in a daily regiment of prayer using a devotional book she gives out to people we pray with. Bob’s wife was not very interested and she said Bob would probably not want to participate either. My wife spoke with Bob and reminded him about the healing he received. His reply was “how do I know it wasn’t just my body’s natural healing and not intervention from God?” The Jews have a saying, “in bad times we cry out to God, in good times we are embarrassed by our belief in God. We are called to be like Jesus, preach the gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons. Thank you Lord that you will have compassion for Bob and his wife. In the name of Jesus Christ Isaiah 49:13

Doubt like that is from the devil. The best way to get someone is to influence their thoughts. St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection from the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. ANd may Thou oh Prince of the Heavilngly angels, by the Divine power of God thrust into hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl throughout the world seeking the ruination of souls. Amen.
